This CBC Television Test Pattern was used in the 1950s and 1960s when CBC / Radio-Canada finished broadcasting for the day.
The graphic patterns had specific purposes to aid in the adjustments of black and white cameras and monitors to achieve quality viewing.
Today, it's just really cool to look at the CBC Television design.
