Spark fond memories for those who attended the legendary Maple Leaf Village of Niagara Falls with these comfy retro Fleece Sweatshirts!

Maple Leaf Village, situated near the Rainbow Bridge exit in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, was a family-friendly amusement park and shopping complex that exuded a classic fairground ambiance with an array of rides.

Opening its doors in 1979, the park initially featured traditional 'flat' rides like carousels and bumper cars, later boasting a claim to fame with the largest ferris wheel in North America, as well as introducing more contemporary attractions such as an electric rollercoaster.

At its heart stood a three-story mall, housing a live show theatre, an array of shopping opportunities, and a multitude of museums, including an attraction reminiscent of Ripley’s 'That’s Incredible!' and an Elvis Presley museum.

Throughout the 1980s, as tourism in Niagara Falls surged, the amusement park continued to draw crowds, consistently enhancing its selection of rides and attractions.

However, Maple Leaf Village faced its demise in the early 1990s due to a change in ownership. York Hanover Hotels, assuming management in the late 1980s, succumbed to bankruptcy and subsequently auctioned off the park and its assets over the course of 1992.
