Ever evolving, the very first CBC logo was designed by contest-winner Hortense Binette, a student from Montréal's École des Beaux Arts. It was in use from its creation in 1940 until it was replaced with Jean-Paul Boileau's CBC/Radio-Canada Retro Map Logo in 1958.
Our gender-neutral CBC 1940 Thunderbolt Logo Jacket boasts the CBC's flagship motif - a stylized map of Canada, framed by lightning bolts. It will quickly become a compelling wardrobe essential. Because, really. Who doesn't like to wear clothes with lightning bolts on them?!
