Ever evolving, the very first CBC logo was designed by contest-winner Hortense Binette, a student from Montréal's École des Beaux Arts. It was in use from its creation in 1940 until it was replaced with Jean-Paul Boileau's CBC/Radio-Canada Retro Map Logo in 1958.

Our gender-neutral CBC 1940 Thunderbolt Logo Jacket boasts the CBC's flagship motif - a stylized map of Canada, framed by lightning bolts. It will quickly become a compelling wardrobe essential. Because, really. Who doesn't like to wear clothes with lightning bolts on them?!

This versatile jacket is perfect for those cool days with microfleece lining to keeping you nice and toasty, but also made of a breathable fabric, making it versatile for all life’s adventures. This jacket is waterproof up to 1,000 mm with adjustable velcro cuffs to keep the water out, and a front pocket with a zipper to help keep your stuff dry and safe.

All our CBC gear is 100% licensed CBC merchandise. Your purchase helps support great Canadian programming!
