Featuring the very first CBC logo, this tee boasts a stylized map of Canada, framed by lightning bolts which are symbolic of radio waves and the unification the public broadcaster would bring to the masses. Designed by contest-winner, Hortense Binette, a student from Montréals École des Beaux Arts, the foundational emblem was in use from its creation in 1940, until it was replaced with Jean-Paul Boileaus CBC/Radio-Canada Retro Map Logo in 1958.

- Solid colour t-shirts are 100% cotton.
- Sports Grey and Heather colours are 50/50 cotton poly blends.
- All shirts are factory preshrunk but 100% cotton shirts will still shrink around 5% .

I really like all the t-shirts I have bought and the shirts my wife bought for me as well. I plan on adding more to my collection. The shirts are really good quality and people have made some nice comments about how good they look. Really happy I came across this excellent Canadian company from Montreal Quebec. The Black Maple Company is a hidden gem.

It's a great shirt, fits well. I'm not sure how I feel about the texture of the image but that's a personal problem and not a negative of the shirt. It does well in the wash.

Perfect
I received the shirt with a round mark on the front of the shirt. It was about the size of a dime. Put the it in the washer hoping it would wash out but it actually ate a hole in shirt. Not impressed!
